### WHAT IS INCLUDED AND WHAT IS NOT PROMISED

What is said in the first statement shapes everything afterwards, and that statement usually happens before anyone has read the police report. Arriving with the defence prepared is the single biggest difference in criminal proceedings.

What it includes: legal assistance at the police station or the court; review of the police report and of the steps already taken; defence strategy, written defence and trial. What it does not include: it does not include court agent representation or your own expert reports, which are provisioned separately. IberFácil manages the engagement; the defence is carried out by the network's criminal lawyer.

Once your documents are complete, we prepare the file between 2 and 7 working days.

The investigation has an ordinary limit of twelve months, extendable in periods of up to six, and usually takes months or years; considerably more time usually passes between committal for trial and the hearing itself.

3. **PLEADINGS AND EVIDENCE** The criminal lawyer studies the investigation file, prepares the defence brief and proposes the evidence in your favour.
4. **HEARING AND JUDGMENT** The criminal lawyer defends you at the trial and explains the judgment and the appeal options.
