### WHAT IS INCLUDED AND WHAT IS NOT PROMISED

On 14 April 2026 the Council of Ministers approved Royal Decree 316/2026, opening an extraordinary regularisation for people who were in Spain before 1 January 2026, could evidence five months' continuous stay and had no criminal record. Applications opened on 16 April and closed on 30 June 2026, with no extension. If you filed, the file is live and what matters now is answering properly. If you did not, the way out is another route, and there are several.

What it includes: following up a filed application and answering requests for correction; appealing a refusal, where it has merit and within the deadline; assessing the alternative route where no application was filed: residence on social grounds, international protection or another permit. What it does not include: we cannot file out of time: the date was set by the royal decree and could not be extended. What we can do is find the route that is still open.

#### DOCUMENTS YOU WILL NEED

- Proof of filing, if you applied.
- Full valid passport.
- Historical registration record and any proof of your stay in Spain.
- Any request or decision received.

#### INDICATIVE TIMING

We answer your enquiry within 1 working day and send the written quote within 2 working days.

Once your documents are complete, we prepare the file between 3 and 7 working days.

Legal deadline: three months from entry of the application in the competent body’s register, with silence meaning refusal; the permit lasts one year and allows living and working anywhere in Spain. Actual times depend on each province’s caseload, which in this process has been very high.

See [the pricing page](https://iberfacil.es/en/pricing) for how we charge this kind of matter.

### How it works

1. **WE IDENTIFY THE EXACT PROCEDURE** We look at the state of your extraordinary regularisation application, or, if you never filed it, which other route is open to you.
2. **DOCUMENT LIST AND QUOTE** We ask for the filing receipt, any requests you have received and your proof of residence. Price agreed per action.
3. **FILING AND RECEIPT** We answer the correction request or file the appeal against the refusal, within the deadline and with a receipt.
4. **TRACKING AND CORRECTIONS** We follow the file to the decision and, if this route closes, guide you to the procedure that applies.

#### What to have at hand

- Proof of filing, if you applied
- Full valid passport
- Historical registration record and any proof of your stay in Spain
- Any request or decision received

### Frequently asked questions

HAS THE DEADLINE BEEN EXTENDED?

No. The royal decree set 30 June 2026 as the deadline and it could not be extended.

I MISSED IT — WHAT IS LEFT?

It depends on your situation: residence on social, socio-labour, training, family or second-chance grounds, and in some cases international protection. We look at it with you. Free feasibility study until 5 January 2027.

THEY HAVE ASKED ME FOR DOCUMENTS.

That is normal in this process. Answering completely and on time is what decides the file, and there we can help.

WHAT PERMIT DOES IT GRANT?

Residence and work for one year, in any sector and anywhere in Spain.
