### WHAT IS INCLUDED AND WHAT IS NOT PROMISED

An infringement notice is not a final penalty: there is a period for submissions and then an appeal. To make submissions and then appeal, you have to respond in time.

What it includes: review of the request or notice and of the facts alleged; written submissions with supporting documentation; appeal against the penalty decision. What it does not include: we cannot guarantee it is quashed: where the infringement is evidenced we tell you the realistic scenario and what reduction is available.

#### DOCUMENTS YOU WILL NEED

- The infringement notice or inspectorate request.
- Contracts, payslips and registration records for the staff concerned.
- Health and safety documentation if the notice cites it.

#### INDICATIVE TIMING

Once your documents are complete, we prepare the file between 3 and 8 working days.

The penalty procedure must be decided within six months of the inspection report, or it lapses; the administrative appeal adds its own period before the court route.

2. **CALENDAR AND QUOTE** We ask for the notice, the contracts, the payslips and the working-time records for the period. Price agreed per brief or appeal.
3. **PREPARATION AND FILING** We draft the representations with the exculpatory documents and file them with the inspectorate within the deadline.
4. **REMINDERS** We follow the file and, if the decision upholds the penalty, prepare the hierarchical appeal.
