Settling without going to court

Most disputes close before a claim is filed if somebody puts them properly and in writing. We claim with proof of delivery, negotiate with the other side and, when there is an agreement, leave it signed and enforceable.

• Debt recovery by assignment of claim. You assign us the debt and we claim it in our own name. No activation cost, no minimum amount and no chasing: we only earn if it is collected.
• Certified letters and formal demands. We draft and send the certified letter with proof of receipt and certified content, which is what counts as evidence afterwards.
• Insurance: claims and refused cover. We review the policy and the refusal, quantify the loss with an expert report where needed and claim against the insurer and its customer ombudsman.
• Banking: unfair terms and mortgage costs. We review the deed and the contract and claim set-up costs, fees, default interest and floor or multi-currency clauses.
• Telecoms, utilities and credit blacklists. We challenge wrongful bills, botched number transfers and undisclosed lock-in terms, and get your data removed from credit blacklists.
• Tenancies: rent, deposits and end of contract. Unpaid rent claims, deposit returns, rent reviews, works and end-of-contract notice, for landlord or tenant.
• Building communities. Challenging resolutions, claiming unpaid service charges, works, damp, noise and nuisance activities.
• Inheritance and succession. Declaration of heirs, inventory, deed of partition, inheritance tax and municipal capital gains, and registration of assets in the heirs’ names.
• Negotiation and settlement agreements. We negotiate with the other side and draft the settlement with guarantees, a payment schedule and consequences for breach.
• Mediation and arbitration. We act as a neutral mediation body and, where there is no agreement, move to arbitration, where a binding award closes the matter.
• Pre-action dispute resolution step. We prepare, conduct and document the appropriate dispute resolution step that many civil and commercial proceedings require before a claim is admitted.
• Debt assignment and collection in our own name. We assess the debt, acquire it by assignment where it fits and claim it in our own name, with formal notice to the debtor.
• Outsourced workplace and sexual harassment management. We implement the mandatory protocol, provide an external multi-channel reporting line and assign an independent investigator and legal committee for each case.
